Single Tutorial or Membership: How to Choose

Kandi sells single video tutorials and a full design school. Which one fits depends on whether you want one design or the technique behind all of them.

By Kandi Jung · Kandi's Kreations, Savannah, Georgia

Kandi's favorite seasonal holiday tutorials bundle, eight of her most-loved designs

There are two ways to learn a design from Kandi: buy the tutorial for it, or join the Kreative Krew and learn every design she has filmed, plus the new ones each week. Both are real options with real buyers, and the right one depends on what you actually want. Here is how to think about it without a pitch.

What a single tutorial is

A digital download. You buy it, an email arrives with the step-by-step video and the supply list, and it is yours forever. There is no schedule, no community and no live session; it is one design, taught start to finish.

The tutorials collection currently includes a Halloween deco mesh wreath tutorial, a Traditional Christmas Wreath with Sequin Presents tutorial, and Kandi's Favorite Seasonal Holiday Tutorials, a bundle of eight of her most-loved wreath and floral designs across the seasons.

One practical note from the listings: check your spam and junk folder for the delivery email. That is where it usually hides.

What the membership is

The Kreative Krew Design School: new live instruction every week, live Q&A with Kandi and the team, the entire pre-recorded vault from wreath basics and bow making through holiday designs, six instructors each teaching her own specialty, Etsy and business guidance, Kandi's tool and supply lists, member coupon codes, 35% off at JAM Designs and Supplies, and a private community. Inside the Kreative Krew describes a normal week.

Choose a single tutorial if

  • You want exactly one design. You saw the Christmas wreath, you want that wreath, you do not want to browse.
  • You already know the basics. The tutorials assume you can attach things to a base and tie a bow. If you cannot yet, the free course comes first.
  • You do not want a community or a schedule. Some people learn alone and prefer it.
  • You want to own the file. A tutorial is yours forever, membership or not.

Choose the membership if

  • You want more than a couple of designs this year. The vault holds every design Kandi has filmed, and the weekly live sessions add to it.
  • Your wreaths do not look how you want and you do not know why. A tutorial shows a finished design; it cannot look at yours. The live Q&A can.
  • You want to sell. Etsy training, monthly shop critiques from Lauren Kilgore, pricing guidance from Heather Williams, and the supply discount all live inside.
  • You want supplies to stop being a mystery. Jennifer Moye's supply sessions and Kandi's own tool lists are worth the membership on their own for a lot of members.
  • You want people. The community is the reason most long-term members stay.

The honest middle path

Take the free Intro to Wreath Making course first. It is free, the lessons are under fifteen minutes, and it covers the foundations both routes assume. Then buy one tutorial for a design you love and build it. If you finish it and want the next one, that is your answer.

There is no wrong order here. Plenty of members bought a tutorial first. Plenty bought a tutorial for a specific design after joining, because they wanted to keep it outside the membership. Kandi sells both because both are useful.

What neither one is

Neither is a finished wreath. If you want the wreath on your door this week and do not want to build it, the shop is the answer, and every piece there is one of a kind and built by hand in Savannah.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to buy the exact supplies in the tutorial?

No. The supply list is a guide, not a guarantee. Kandi teaches the technique so the same method works with whatever you can actually find. Beginner wreath-making supplies explains the thinking.

Are tutorials refundable?

Digital downloads are delivered instantly and are not returnable. The returns policy is published on the site. If you are unsure, start with the free course.

If I join the Krew, do I still need to buy tutorials?

No. The vault includes every design Kandi has filmed. Some members buy a tutorial anyway to own the file outside the membership.

Can I cancel the membership?

Yes. The details of each membership option are on the Krew page.

Put it into practice

The free intro course is the best first step.

Short beginner lessons under fifteen minutes each — greenery, structure and the mistakes everyone makes first. No card, no supply list.
